Installation is very simple: Connect the black wire to ground Connect the red wire to the existing switch-wire of the door-jamb switch. Set your existing dome-lights’ mode-switch to the automatic position Now the dome light will no longer turn off immediately after you close the door, instead it will stay on for approximately 15 seconds.
