What Is a Dry Sump Tank Used For?

Adry sump tankstores and manages the engines oil outside the crankcase. It works as part of a dry sump lubrication system, allowing scavenger pumps to collect oil from the engine and deliver it back to the tank. This system prevents oil starvation during high-G manoeuvres, lowers engine height for a better centre of gravity, and allows for increased oil capacity, making it ideal for race, drift, rally, and high-performance road cars.
